2 in 1 Trim Black is a tough, flexible polymer coating designed to restore bumpers and flexible or rigid trim to their OEM condition. 

Excellent adhesion to urethane, rubber, metal and treated olefin plastics. Fast drying, provides excellent adhesion and requires no priming.

Suitable Substrates:

• Bare Steel
• Bare Galvanized
• Bare Aluminum
• OEM E-Coat
• Raw Plastic ( Rigid, Flexible, Soft, Primed)
• Body Filler 
• Primer ( Self Etching, 1K, 2K) 
• OEM Finish & Old Paint Work – Non-Reversible. 

 

Surface Preparation

Clean area to be coated with Wax and Grease Remover. 

2 in 1 Trim Black has excellent adhesion to most substrates, however, for difficult to adhere polyolefins, Adhesion Promoter may be used.

 

 

APPLICATION

1. Shake can well.
2. For best results, use when can is between 70 – 90ºF (21 – 32ºC).
3. Hold can 8 – 10” from surface and spray with steady, even strokes.
4. Several thin coats are better than one thick coat. After use, invert can and spray to clean nozzle.
5. Allow final coat to dry one hour before handling parts.
6. Replace metal trim and panels carefully to avoid damaging the freshly painted surfaces.
