A crystal clear, high gloss clear coat lacquer with excellent leveling. Fast hardening, suitable for all top quality refinishes. Ensures durable gloss and offers excellent resistance to extreme weather conditions.

 

This is a 2K technology super high gloss clear coat laquer for use with local repairs on paintwork. Excellent UV resistance and has excellent adhesion. The special formulation has a component which activates the 2k laquer on contact with air. This allows it be used straight from the can.

 

Concept Super Gloss Clear (aerosol) is a “blocked” 2K isocyanate free (moisture cured), high quality clearcoat, suitable for all metallic based and acrylic automotive paints. It is characterised by exceptionally high gloss, excellent durability and adhesion making it ideal for spot repairs and small areas.

Substrate Preparation
All Substrates Ensure that all surfaces are clean and free from any contamination prior to application. Mask off surrounding areas to avoid overspray.

 

Product Preparation

Shake can Invert and shake the can thoroughly, until the agitation ball can
be heard (two to three minutes). Continue to shake the can
during application

 

Application

Spray in an even overlapping pattern from a distance of approx. 25 cm.

 

Number of coats: 2-3

• Apply two to three even coats to gradually increase film thickness.
• Avoid heavy wet coats to minimise risk of runs.

 

Flash off time
@ 25°C (77°F) 5 min between coats

 

Drying Air Dry
@ 25°C (77°F) 24 hours – Full cure

 

Polishing(Optional)

Sand with P1200 abrasive prior to polishing

 

Equipment Cleaning

• Turn the can upside down and spray until the jet clears.
• Any over spray maybe cleaned up with Mineral Turps

Please note: This aerosol does not have a hardener activation button/clip on the bottom of the can. It is a 2K air dry which activates when sprayed out of the can.
