Plastic Pro is a polyester putty specially for the filling or repairing of plastic parts.

A specialized new developed plastic putty for the most common plastics available on the market.

The putty has excellent properties such as adhesion, elasticity and sandability as well as fineness of the surface.

 

Characteristics

• very fine surface after sanding 
• very high elasticity

 

Application 

Spread on with a putty knife for repairing scratches and damages on polyester components. When using plastic pro it is neccessary to use a primer before, only then you will reach a good putty adherence.

• Delivery viscosity at 20°C paste like 
• V.O.C. content: 2004/42/IIB (b) (250) < 250g/l 
• Colour: Black

 

Dosing

-Addition of 2-3 % by weight hardener paste.

Overdosing of the hardener paste is to be avoided. Bleeding-through and colour changes in the finishing coat might be the result.

 

Pot Life

– At +20°C room temperature, 3 – 4 minutes.

 

Reaction temperature

– At least +5°C.

 

Drying time

– Air drying 15 minutes at a room temperature of +20°C 

 

Sanding characteristics

Following drying times given.

• First sanding – dry with P150 – P180.
• Re-sanding – dry with P240 P360.

 

Reworking

The Plastic Pro putty can be reworked with all common 2K acrylic fillers available in the market or with the following CARSYSTEM products:

– Plastic Cleaner 

– Plastic Primer 

– 1K Filler 

– High Build Primer

– Filler 540 

– Filler vario
